# CONNECTION BETWEEN SELF-DEVELOPMENT AND FITNESS

         
Self-motivation

          If you'll google the benefits of being fit, you will get to read thousands of lines. A number of researches and surveys have been done and still many are going on, and this data gives you a clear idea about the advantages of being fit and healthy. So very briefly I am going to write down some benefits of being in good health.
  • Improves Immune System
  • Improves agility, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, etc
  • Reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases or Lung disorders 
  • Reduces anxiety, stress, etc
  • A better personality

          So these are the few benefits which have been confirmed by the researchers in the world. The list can go even longer but I am not going to write too much about this. If anyone wants the detail information about the above-mentioned benefits, you can simply google it.
          Apart from all these commonly mentioned benefits, there is something more which I would like to add ... 
          Motivation plays a key role in making your tomorrow better than today and everyone has their own way to keep themselves motivated and energized. When you chase a dream you have some reasons behind the chase and these reasons keep you pushing harder towards your destiny. And obviously, everyone's journey towards his destiny is very long and you need motivation every now and then to keep yourself on the track. But sometimes it happens that we lose motivation and somehow go off the track. And this is, in fact, unavoidable and pretty natural. 
          “Motivation doesn't last forever. But for that matter, neither does bathing. That's why it is recommended daily.”         - Zig Ziglar
           On some ideal day in between the journey, you gonna feel that you have been struggling and pushing harder for so long but still, you haven't achieved anything. In such situations, your bottle of motivation goes empty.   
           Hence it is very important to discover a technique for yourself which will help you to put yourself back on track. There are two ways from here to jump back on track: 
  1. Remember why you started ( This one is very common )
  2. Have a glance at the results that you have achieved till now 
          The first one is very much self-explanatory. You just have to sit, relax and start thinking about the reasons that made you start the journey. If you want you can write them on paper. Imagine yourself at the final position of your journey and just start craving for it from the within. Now, this craving has the power to bring you back to work again.
          Now let's talk about the second method - RESULTS ... Rewards come in the form of results and then the person gets addicted to earning rewards. They play a very important role in holding yourself on the path while on a long journey. But most of the time it happens that people do not have any considerable results even after working for many days. It is very normal, sometimes you choose a field that doesn't give you results immediately at the start of the journey. But fortunately, there is one thing in life which shows very significant and assured changes rather improvements when you work on it and that is "YOUR BODY"

          You can ask any gym freak guy how he feels flexing his muscles at the end of the workout. Everyday looking yourself changing in the mirror is not less than having a motivation pill. When you look yourself in the mirror in the mind you compare yourself with your past and you can clearly see the changes and the betterment of every muscle. This generates the crave for an even better version of yourself. This crave brings back the energy and motivation to you. And this energy from the gym you can carry and divert immediately wherever you need it. Yes! You can divert that motivation to some other task. Ultimately there is only one mind and when you fill it with motivation by any means you can use it wherever you want. Even if you'll join the gym today you'll be able to feel the energy looking in the mirror just in 10-15 days. And just in 3-4 months, you will surprise yourself looking at your before-after photograph. 
MIRRORS HAVE THE POWER TO REFUEL YOU MENTALLY 

          This is what I feel the gym does for me:-
The gym is the place where you empty your water bottle and fill up your bottle of motivation.
The gym is the place where you empty down your physical energy and fill up your mental energy.
I will give you another interesting reason to workout regularly and get into shape. I assume you have read the post - " WHERE WINNERS MAKE DIFFERENCE ". If you haven't read it, read it before proceeding further.

So what percent of people around you are fit and are in perfect shape? Look around and answer this to yourself ... You'll notice that you have got a chance to be extraordinary today. (As I said in the last post) And I will suggest never miss such opportunities which are going to help you to be extraordinary today.

>Getting the feeling of complete control over yourself is very important ...

  When you want to achieve your goal you should have complete control over yourself. And you get the best feeling of complete control over yourself looking at the transformed body in the mirror. Trust me getting in perfect shape is one of the easiest ways to reach a certain height of self-confidence and that's because you've got very much assured outcomes when you transform your body with complete focus. (Look what I've underlined over there!)
Choose! Whom you wanna see in the mirror tomorrow ?!

Mirrors in the gym have the ability to fill up your daily requirement of motivation but also remember that if you'll neglect your fitness the same mirror even has got the power to demotivate you.
          The choice is yours make it right ...

Everyone wants to see themselves at a position of their dreams after a certain period of time . Everybody wants to be a better version of themselves which they imagine to be. And that is what the definition of self-development talks about - every tomorrow should come up with a better version of yourself than the version you are living today. And actually, that is what life is about! Mostly, you will find youngsters of age 16 to 30 with some extraordinary dreams in life. Some of them have their journeys or career well defined, while some of them haven't found their path yet but, they have one thing in common - " I WANT TO DO SOMETHING IN MY LIFE ". Haven't you heard this sentence from a youngster ??! ... But the fact is that everyone doesn't reach to the destiny he aims at ... And obviously, if everyone will be able to reach their destiny then success won't taste that sweet(We'll have a talk on this later ...
